Biography:
My goal as a nature photographer and
artist is to accurately portray the emotional essence of a scene. The
natural world is filled with an incredible energy that is often
indiscernible to the naked eye. While pursuing this energy my camera
becomes an extension of myself, much like a painter with a brush, except
light becomes my paint of choice. Sometimes the unique mood of light and
interaction of elements within the composition create a truly magical
photograph. My greatest reward is capturing this natural magic and
sharing it with the world.
Artist Statement:
"I am continually inspired by the incredible energy found everywhere
within nature. Much of nature’s energy is invisible to the human eye,
however, through a photographic image, motion, light, color and texture
become evident in ways we never before noticed. Sometimes the result is
magical. My greatest reward is capturing this natural magic and sharing it
with the world."
